Art and War

 War is a huge influence on art. After the war, many artists made art in response to war. An example is the Viennese Actionists. They liked to use destruction to make a statement. An Actionist Otto Muehl said, "I can imagine nothing significant where nothing is sacrificed, destroyed, dismembered, burnt, pierced, tormented, harassed, tortures, massacred... stabbed, destroyed, or annihilated." (Rush 56).
